Types of supervision available
We can provide supervision on a regular, occasional or ad hoc basis and to individuals or groups.
Individual supervision
Our individual supervision service is best for those developing their practice or who are working towards accreditation with a relevant professional body. It allows time to explore clinical issues and challenges and to develop effective strategies for these.
Group supervision
Group supervision suits those who are wishing to develop their practice in a particular area. It enables experiences to be shared in a supportive and encouraging way, while at the same time being facilitated by a highly experienced practitioner. Group supervision can also be used to build understanding, improve skills and gain expert input in teams.
Consultancy
We offer expert consultancy on particular issues that are linked to professional practice in the area of mental health, such as, psychometric measures, development of particular techniques, report writing, etc.
CPD and training
Our CPD and training services are designed for organisations and groups wishing to develop expertise in particular areas. We also run regular CPD events that focus on contemporary issues in the mental health and therapeutic fields.
Getting started
We offer supervision at our Borders centre and at all our locations throughout Scotland. We can also provide supervision sessions by phone or online. Come along for a ‘no-obligation’ initial session during which goals and approach will be discussed. For further details and cost of this session, please contact us.
