Simba supports families who have lost their baby. They help those who are grieving create precious moments to honour their memory. Where there is darkness, Simba shines gentle light by making time, giving space and sharing love. The approach Simba takes is deeply personal, their team and volunteers coming together because every baby matters. One of the most important things Simba offers is a Memory Box, each one unique, handmade with love.

The items within the boxes have been specifically chosen to be used by families at that gestational loss. The way that Simba approach families, and the way they help them to make memories with their baby is incredibly important; even the smallest gesture can mean the world. Simba aims to empower parents, to take away their fear if they can by encouraging them to hold and cuddle their newborn and create memories that can never be taken away. Each time a parent looks into their Memory Box, Simba wants it to be full of memories; time spent with their baby, time creating the clay imprint kits, inkless certificates, making hand and footprints together, taking photos together. A Memory Box is often described as a parent's most treasured possession.

For over 30 years the Lucy Faithfull Foundation has been at the forefront of preventing and responding to child sexual abuse. They firmly believe that child sexual abuse is preventable, not inevitable. Their work is unique. They protect children by working with people who pose a risk to them, by diverting them from causing harm. In addition, they support individuals and families who have been affected by abuse and they help professionals who work with families to create safer environments for children.

The GK Experience

The GK Experience is founded on the belief that all young people are brilliant and that they deserve the same opportunities to succeed in order to make their aspirations a reality. The charity journeys alongside and offers support to young people who face long-term challenges due to poverty, disadvantage and inequality in Glasgow and the wider area. They provide an integrated model of support in four areas: residential experiences, local community work, a young leaders programme, and tailored individual support with the aim of increasing confidence, decision making, resilience, leadership skills and enhanced physical and mental health.
