Works as Psychology Services Team Member at First Psychology Centre, Borders.
Chelsea has experience of working with adults, children and families in times of need. She has a BSc (hons) degree in Psychology from Queen Margaret University and she is currently working towards an MSc in Children and Young People's Mental Health and Psychological Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
As part of her honours degree, Chelsea undertook research in attachment classification and the likelihood of engaging in health compromising risk-taking behaviours. She is currently completing research in childhood experiences of trauma, effects on cognitive processes, and outcomes of depressive and anxiety symptoms as part of her Masters degree.
Chelsea's future plans involve further doctoral level study and training to become a practising clinical psychologist.
In her spare time, Chelsea likes going to the gym, cooking, reading, walking outside in nature with her two dogs, and travelling.
